Found you via Cop Mama. I too am married to a police officer. I remember in the early days when he was just a rookie, my then "little" daughter and I would always plan " a girl's night". We would watch my little girl's favorite T.V. shows in our p.j.s I wonder now if she missed her daddy as much as I missed him. I remember the best part of him working is spending time with just my little sweetie. God bless you. You and your family are in my prayers. Bren PS Following your blog now.
Seeking Grace: That is such a fun memory! If your daughter is anything like my kids she missed him terribly. The first question I get in the morning is "When is Dad coming home?" Thanks for your prayers ... I'll check out your blog. Cop Mama: I think it was the adorable-ness that gave us a free pass for the mullets! Ha! Actually that picture is a good ice breaker. If ever there's an awkward silence someone breaks out the "Oh, have you seen our mullet pictures?" and all is good! Momma Fargo: Mullets in wedding pictures ... oooo boy! Kind of makes me wonder what your dress looked like?? :o)
Aaaa! I love it! The mullet family. My family was never that fashionable I guess. The boys had flat tops and the girls had curly bangs and long hair. Still ugly. I love your family stories that you share by the way. They are funny and really the stuff that memories are made of.

Oh yeah...I had one too. It was third or fourth grade, I believe.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that is too funny! (We can laugh with you, right???) But what an adorable family no matter what!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I can laugh only because right now I am staring at my husband's wedding pic with the biggest mullet ever...UGH!
